Hunter House is a great place to stay! Loved that we all had our own bedroom and my husband and I had our own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen was great! We ate almost every meal at the house. The game room was lots of fun as well as all the games there were to play. We especially liked the hot tub! Loved all the hunter house details - blankets, cups, etc. Host was super responsive and helpful!

The whole house was very clean, very well equipped. I had everything I needed, large and spacious. I had a very rich time here with my family. The only thing that seemed to me that it was poorly located was the jacuzzi because it is in front of the house. The neighbors could see us, I think it would have been better in the back of the house so no one sees us and there is more privacy

Firstly, the best home we have ever stayed in. The design was impeccable, right out of Dwell magazine. Supery clean and pristine. Snacks when we arrived! Fluffy duvets and pillows, and Robes! Gorgeous tiled bathrooms. Truly like a high end hotel experience. The game room is a big plus! For all aged kids. So big they can even roller skate down there. Huge TVs. It was -7 when we were there and we were verrry comfy and did not want to leave, but managed to get out to hike on a nearby rail trail and snow tube nearby at Villa Roma. Lovely fireplace added to the getaway winter cozy vibes. Rika was very attentive and helped right away when I couldn't figure out the very easy door lock :) Thank you Rika! We are looking forward to coming back in the Spring and Summer.

Rika is a very warm person who is thoughtful enough to check in with us before our trip and inform us of the usage instructions for all the things in the house. The house is fully equipped and beautifully decorated, with many items that add to the ambiance. The best part is that all the dishes and kitchen utensils are high-quality and not the cheap kind. All the little details made us feel taken care of! Upon check-in, we received small gifts and snacks, and during our stay, there were plenty of blankets and toiletries available for us to take as we needed. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and we especially want to thank Rika for her support and care, which made us feel like we were at home. We really enjoyed our time! Really beautiful place to stay when you want to get away from it all! Surroundings are wonderful, the house is gorgeous, and the furniture is all so comfy. I had a girls weekend here and it was perfect, including the fairy lights in the front and back porches during the evening. Rika’s home had most of what we needed and we had a great time BBQing, hanging in the hot tub, and having movie night. Rika is a very responsive host - truly she always answered and it was always quick. Would 100% stay there again; great way to take a beat and breathe!

Amazing place to get away from the city! Rika was an incredible host who was super responsive and helpful with anything and everything we needed! The beds were super comfy, the decor was outstanding! The bathrooms were super clean! Kitchenware was available and suited all of our needs. There were plenty of activities to do in the house, from board games, a variety of television options, and an extensive selection of games in the basement. We personally played hours of ping pong. We will definitely consider coming back to this place again for another getaway in the future.

The property is impeccably clean, comfortably furnished, and artfully decorated, with stunning mountain views and nature all around. The hosts put an incredible amount of thought into designing the home with special touches to make the experience memorable. Our host, Rika, deserves a special shoutout or being so gracious and helpful. She accommodated our request for early checkin and responded to our messages in minutes. She even offered to ship a forgotten item back to us and cover the shipping costs! This stay deserves ten stars-highly recommend!

Rika’s place is just amazing. First off, the house exceeded our expectations. When you walk in you immediately notice the decor. It’s completely clutter free so the beautiful designs really stand out. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I slept like a log which is very unusual. I actually slept a bit late on Saturday because it was so cozy and restful. Pillows felt great too. Bathrooms are spotless and the master bedroom suite’s shower is beautiful and maintains great water pressure and heat. The game room downstairs is amazing and the kids had an absolute ball as did we! The deck swing, chairs and fire pit were excellent for a night of s’mores and star gazing. Rika gives you everything you need stocked! We saw deer every night and morning and watched frogs and tadpoles in the pond. Rika was always available for questions and suggestions on attractions and the website for the house has all the information you need for things to do. Highly recommend Hunter House!

We’ve been renting homes in the summer for years, and this by far has been the best. You will really feel like you’re in a hotel, the way the house is kept up, is 5 star. Everything was gorgeous and everything works. There is nothing that’s not provided, from pack n play, high chair to baby bath. It was actually cold the week we stayed and we asked for heat, 10 seconds later it was on. Great host. Great place. You will be very happy you stayed there.

We almost don’t want to write this review since we want this house to be a secret so it’ll be available for us anytime we’d like to stay again 😊! … We, a family of 7, just returned from a quick stay at the Hunter House. This property and home are incredible! The private well maintained greenery, apple trees, lake and views are serene and heavenly. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, well thought out, cheery and decorated professionally. The big deck overlooking the private property has great seating options. The house is stocked with all that you need and more. There are board games (boggle etc) and physical games (ping pong, air hockey, bean bag throw, basketball) in the amazingly fun basement. There are two fire pit options and a great hot tub. Plenty of land for family outdoor games (there was a volleyball net up too!) or just for relaxing overlooking the frog filled peaceful lake. Hosts were gracious and responsive. Our family made really wonderful memories.

Rika’s place was fantastic and a perfect set up for our get together- 5 adults and 3 children. We had fresh snow for the weekend and went sledding in the yard. Rika’s place was the perfect spot for a family getaway! It was spacious, clean, and inviting. The main long space was open so all 7 of us were all able spend time together, even when I was cooking. The downstairs was the favorite for all of my kids, ages 4-16! There was something for all of them—toys, basketball, ping pong, air hockey and more! It snowed while we we were there and they had sleds to sled down the hill in the backyard! We went skiing at Belleayre during our stay (about 50 min away) and loved being able to soak in the hot tub when we got back! Plus it’s a beautiful drive through the mountains to get there! Highly recommend this place for families!

We felt incredibly comfortable and spent the days relaxing in the living area and the evenings cooking dinners in the expansive kitchen while the kids had a blast downstairs in the basement floor play area.

Above and beyond. Staying at this house was like staying in a high end hotel. Cleanliness, ease of check in/out, space, amenities were all top notch. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of social media worthy spots indoors and outside. Plenty of activities for both kids and adults within the property itself or the surrounding areas. Rika was very quick to respond and even checked in prior to our arrival to ensure that our stay was as pleasant as it could be. I really appreciated that the instructions were clear but I didn’t feel bogged down with minutiae of things that needed to be done before checking out. It was very evident that the hosts were designing this place to be above what you typically expected for Airbnb rental. You will be getting so much value for your money. We stayed for a weekend in the fall. Will likely stay at here again in the future, for a longer time.
